"RIBBON OF EMBRACE"

DESIGNED BY BAILEY SMITH

Anchor 1

By design, this emblem is intended to be a recycled re-creation of the renowned "breast cancer ribbon" while standing separate from the original symbol as a representation of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). The concept represents hope, refuge and comfort.  Because so many individuals are not aware of TNBC compared to that of common breast cancers, the creation of this new logo serves as a bold and eye-opening symbol for the 15 to 20 percent of breast cancer patients diagnosed with TNBC.  The three main spheres of the symbol with a ribbon divided into three folds imitates the term "triple negative".  The outlining heart shaped ribbons wrapping around these spheres personifies the loving grasp of support available to patients suffering from this severe ailment. With these two elements together, an embodiment of embrace is born while being complimented by the vibrant "classic pink" we have all come to recognize as the color for breast cancer.
